Greatest Career Moment(s): “There were several. Winning 2004 Raybestos Rookie of the Year in the Busch Series and breaking seven records. Winning eight Sprint Cup races in 2008. 2005 Raybestos Rookie of the Year (youngest in NASCAR history). And 2009 Nationwide Series champion.”

Most Painful Moment: “Losing the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series Championship (finished second to Martin Truex Jr.).”

Worst Injury: “I hit the wall head-on once in a Legend car – hurt my knee pretty good.”

Embarrassing Racing Memory: “I was leading at Nashville and running out of grass. I tried to take the shortcut back to pit road and cut through the front-stretch grass after it had rained for three days. I got stuck, needless to say [smiles].”

Funny Racing Memory: “My team played a trick on my dad. They put grease on his windshield wipers and forced him to use them on the way back to the hotel. Needless to say, we couldn’t see out the windshield [smiles].”
