Funny Golf Memory: “The day I flipped a club toward my bag — my dad says I threw it — and he picked up my clubs and his and walked right off the course to our house. I have not ‘flipped’ a club since. We laugh about that now, but he made his point at an early age about do’s and don’ts in the game of golf. It wasn’t funny then as I chased him all the way home.”

Favorite Golfers To Watch: “Arnold Palmer — he loves the fans so much and they love him even more. Juli Inkster — she plays with such passion even though she is such a veteran.”
Favorite Non-Golf Athletes To Watch: “Shaq — he is a gentle giant and looks like he is such a fun person. Dwyane Wade — for during the game when he had the flu and still led them to the Finals — how tough is he. Roger Clemens — fierce competitor but still puts family first. Michael Johnson (Olympic track and field gold medalist). The guy won everything, he has so many gold medals and has helped me tremendously with my preparation and routine prior to events.”
Embarrassing Golf Memory: “I missed a one-inch putt in my very first golf tournament [smiles].”
Favorite Vacation Spot: “New York City, because I just love that place.”

Funniest Players from LPGA Tour: “Laura Davies. She is just a really great person and is very witty. She has done so much for women’s golf. I cannot talk to her much on the course because she makes me laugh so much that I don’t concentrate on my game enough [smiles].”
