Early Golf Memory: “Before I knew it I had a cut-off golf club in my hands. I started in diapers. My dad was a pro. I began before I can even remember. It was always there.”

Favorite Books: “Open Season, Man On Fire.”

Favorite Golf Course: “Augusta National.”

Hobbies/Leisure Activities: “Fishing, quail hunting. I’m a big sports fan. I like all the major sports – baseball, football, basketball, hockey.”

Musical Tastes: “Kenny G, old music, jazz, country western, classical.”

First Job: “Golf course maintenance in Fort Bragg (age 13).”

First Car: “1949 black Ford.”

Favorite Meal: “Italian, pasta, with salad.”

Pre-Round Feeling: “I don’t know if I think anything differently about anything, any day. It’s all the same to me. I’ve been doing this so long. It’s second nature. (Visualize?) No.”

Childhood Dream: “Touring golf professional. The only thing I ever wanted to do.”
