First Baseball Memory: “I was watching with my grand-dad and I was watching Andre Dawson hit his 49th home run. He was with the Cubs. He had the curls, the stiff front leg. And he inspired me to really play the game. I had the same batting stance, same hair style. My first memory of baseball was Andre Dawson.”

Strangest Game: “I don’t know who it was against but I remember playing like an 18-inning game. Weirdest game ever, five hours plus game. So tired. It was kind of raining. That’s definitely my weirdest game. (Minors?) Major League. Cleveland maybe. I don’t know for sure.”

Embarrassing Baseball Memory: “Actually one of my most embarrassing memories was last year here in Tampa, ball was hit down the line and I ran over to try to cut it off. And I was going so fast I couldn’t stop. I tripped over the fence. Probably the most embarrassing. (Remember who hit it?) Ben Zobrist.”

Favorite Stadium: “I’d have to say Anaheim.”

Favorite Athletes To Watch: “Kobe Bryant, definitely. He’s a clutch player, he’s winner. Always lifting his team up to play and he steps up at the right time. The guy is gamer, man, you know it and everybody knows it. Pittsburgh Steelers.”
