Childhood Dream:  “I’m doing it.”
Favorite Meal:  “Texas-style barbecue. Or any barbecue, for that matter.”
First Job:  “Selling Christmas trees out of a trailer at nights in Red Bank, N.J.”

Early Career Memory:  “My first broadcast job. Doing weather and sports in the same broadcast, separated by one commercial break, every weekend, for one year. At KOAM-TV in Pittsburg, Kansas.”
Greatest Career Moment:  “Being in Berlin for the destruction of the Wall. (Williams won an Emmy Award for his coverage of the historic event for WCBS-TV New York in 1989).”
Most Painful Career Moment:  “Watching people die. And also moments that happen to be huge news stories – 9/11, TWA Flight 800, Diana and JFK Jr.”
Funny Career Memory:  “I remember a freezing-cold night on live television in Brooklyn, New York, I mispronounced the phrase ‘city-run shelters’ – with disastrous results [smiles].”
Pre-Work Feeling/Attitude:  “Anti-climactic. My day’s work is 90% writing and editing what I deliver on the air.”
